Bad music My German friend Der Deutsche Freund

Der Deutsche Freund, a new electro-acoustic group consisting of Hans Lingens (snare drum), Shaul Cohen (feedback) and Tom Solovicik (tenor saxophone). The three mix and fuse minimalism alongside noise, broken rhythms alongside compositional thought and influences from the spaces of free jazz and experimental music. In this festive concert on the occasion of Shavuot, 'my German friend' will be hosted by a French friend, Pierre Burrell, a versatile saxophonist and composer from Marseille, a member of several ensembles of improvised and written music including Die Hochstapler (together with Hans Lingens) and the jazz orchestra Umlaut Big Band.
